Study Trip on Electric Mobility Nov 4-11, 2012
Less than two years ago, the keys to the first Nissan Leaf were handed over to a San Francisco Bay Area resident. The event signaled a new era in electric mobility. California is at the forefront of developments in clean mobility. It is for this reason that a large delegation made up of 19 Dutch key mobility leaders will visit California in early November to meet with industry and government experts.
The visit will focus on government and industry initiatives, assessment of early experiences (what has worked and what hasn't) and, most importantly, identifying next steps. Notable visits include the City of Los Angeles, UCLA, UC Berkeley and UC Davis and leading companies, including Tesla, CODA and Chargepoint. The Netherlands Consulate General will host a roundtable discussion at the conclusion of the visit to launch a multi-year public-private partnership agreement to support electric mobility initiatives between the Netherlands and partners on the West Coast of the US.
